Welcome to Toktokwallet. The following T&Cs shall apply to all those who wish to use and access Toktokwallet Inc. These T&Cs shall govern the terms under which you may access and use the Toktokwallet App, Toktokwallet website and the services associated with it (together “Toktokwallet Service” or “Toktokwallet Services”). By accessing, registering or using the Toktokwallet Service, you hereby accept and agree to be legally bound by the T&Cs. If you do not understand and agree to be bound by any of these T&Cs, you should not access or use any of the Toktokwallet services.
These T&Cs shall be effective, valid, and binding from the time you agreed to it and it will exist up to the time that is terminated by either party, save for some provisions which shall remain effective after termination, as stated in this T&C, under any law, rule, or regulation.
Toktokwallet Inc reserves the right to modify these T&Cs at any time without any prior notice. Any changes to these T&Cs shall be effective immediately upon publication on the Toktokwallet App or Toktokwallet website.
Subject to the applicable laws and regulations of the Philippines, these terms set out the entire agreement between you and us in relation to Toktokwallet services – you agree that you will have no claim against Toktokwallet, for any statement which is not explicitly set out in these terms. In the event that any of the provisions of these terms are deemed invalid or invalidated subsequently by any rules or regulations, the remaining provisions will not be affected, and the validity or enforceability of any other provision (or the remaining parts of that provision) will remain. If a court holds that we cannot enforce any part of these terms as drafted, we may replace those terms with similar terms to the extent enforceable under applicable laws and regulations, without changing the remaining terms of these terms. No delay in enforcing any provision of these terms will be construed to be a waiver of any rights under that provision.
Under these T&Cs, the terms “Toktokwallet”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the company, together with its employees, directors, affiliates, successors and assigns. Toktokwallet is a Filipino electronic money issuer company duly registered with and licensed by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
“Users” - refers to the individual who uses the Toktokwallet service whose name appears on the Toktokwallet registration form, or the card, as may be applicable.
“Cash in” - refers to the process of exchanging physical cash to digital money to be able to avail products and services through cashless transactions.
“Cash out” - refers to the process of exchanging digital money from Toktokwallet to physical money through various channels offered by Toktokwallet e.g (OTC Bank, OTC Non-bank, on-line transfer, etc.)
“Customer” - refers to individuals or juridical entities that registered to avail and use the system
“Merchant” - refers to an accredited establishment that accepts payments for goods and services using the Toktokwallet Service.
“Toktokwallet” - refers to the electronic money wallet in the Toktokwallet App that stores Philippine Peso (PhP) value in the Toktokwallet system, linked to the Toktokwallet account holder’s mobile phone number and which may or may not be evidenced by a physical card, and which can be used to transfer funds, and for payments of goods and services.
“Toktokwallet App” - refers to Toktokwallet application running on mobile to use Toktokwallet and its services
“Toktokwallet Merchant” - refers to partner merchants or establishments that accepts and allows payments for goods and services through Toktokwallet
The user agrees to use the Toktokwallet only for lawful purpose and in a lawful manner at all times. The user shall comply with all any guidelines, notices, operating rules, and policies and instructions pertaining to the use of the toktokwallet.
It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that any information or data you provide to us in connection to the Toktokwallet is accurate. It is our policy to prohibit and actively pursue the prevention of money laundering and any activity that facilitates money laundering. In the event that the user intended to give access to any one, toktok will not be liable to any possible cause of infringement of security to his/her.
You need to create an account in order to use the Toktokwallet. The account is personal to you or to the juridical entity, and you are prohibited from lending, transferring, or permitting any other person to access your account, except those persons duly authorized by a juridical entity.
Upon registration, you will be asked to provide several information, such as, but not limited to the following: complete name, address, mobile number, permanent address, business address, date of birth, and signature. Toktokwallet will then verify the information provided.
You agree to provide all necessary information, including additional information that the Toktokwallet may ask. You also agree that all information that you provide is true and correct to the best of your knowledge. Any false information will be used against you and your registration for Toktokwallet shall be terminated.
toktokwallet is a reloadable e-wallet. The amount of money reloaded does not earn interest. It is not a deposit account, and not covered by the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC). The use of Toktokwallet as an e-wallet is governed by the regulations of the Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA), e-Commerce act , Data Privacy Act of 2012, as well as all existing laws and its Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Philippines.
The amount loaded may be used to purchase goods and services with partner merchants.
We reserve the right to modify, stop, suspend any of its services when circumstances so warrant without prior notice.
Transactions may be delayed or cancelled through various reasons including but not limited to, maintenance, downtime, verification process, or in compliance to existing laws or regulations.
Toktokwallet shall also ensure that e-money instruments clearly identify the issuer who is ultimately responsible to the e-money holders.
The user agrees to abide by the obligations stated and the user shall understand that failure to abide by these obligations is punishable by reasonable penalties to the user’s account.
In using Toktokwallet, you agree that you will not use it for your own profit or for commercial use. Likewise, you agree not to reverse-engineer, modify, or alter the application in any manner.
You, as the user, shall undertake to provide us with:
The user is responsible for all initiated transactions and its fees while using the Toktokwallet.
The user acknowledges and agrees that Toktokwallet is not a bank nor a remittance agent, and the services provided in connection with the user’s Toktokwallet should in no way be construed in line with the provision of banking services or remittance services.
Cash in and Cash out. The user may cash in their physical money through the JC wallet. Limits are based on the user’s account level. Money in a Toktokwallet can be used as payment for any transactions using the toktok customer/rider app. After the user has exchanged his/her physical money to toktok’s digital money, the user may already start enjoying the products and services offered by toktokwallet and its affiliates. Cash out may be done through Toktokwallet’s partners’ Automated Teller Machines or ATM, or through any accredited Cash Out Centers.
Fees, Rates and Other Charges. The user agrees to pay fees, rates, other charges, and applicable taxes, related to the service and its use. The amount of fees and charges may be revised as may deem necessary, effective immediately, without the prior notice.
Fees and other charges imposed upon the user shall be inclusive of all Philippine taxes, and shall be credited from the user’s account.
Transactions made through the Toktokwallet services are automatically recorded. You may view and review your transactions under the “Transaction History” tab. Toktokwallet shall be held free and harmless from any and all liability should the Account / Transaction History statement be read by any person other than the user.
Any transaction recorded in the Toktokwallet’s transaction history and database are presumed true and correct. There will be a downloadable receipt and SMS / Text confirmation for every transaction. Toktokwallet shall not be liable for any mistake made through person to person transactions.
Any disputes thereto should be reduced in writing by the user, and shall notify Toktokwallet within fifteen (15) days from the date of the transaction. Failure to dispute the transaction within the reglementary period will result in its conclusiveness. Disputed transactions shall only be credited back once the same is properly investigated and verified. If no dispute is reported within the said period, all transactions and the entries in the Account/Transaction History statement are considered true, correct, and final.

Charges may apply if no action is taken by the user. Granting the account's remaining balance, maintenance fee will be automatically deducted to the toktok wallet.

The owner of the account shall immediately inform the toktokwallet Customer Care of any change of personal information such as name, residency, contact information, and bank information shall be subject for approval by the toktokwallet management
Fraudulent transactions
Toktokwallet shall have the right to automatically suspend or block the Toktokwallet user in the event that there is a reason to believe that the Toktokwallet is being used for suspicious transactions by unauthorized persons.
The Toktokwallet user acknowledges the authority of Toktokwallet Inc to suspend or block the Toktokwallet account.
Toktokwallet will automatically require a six-digit pin for every transaction initiated by the user. Upon registration, a One Time Pin (OTP) will be required to complete the application. Remember not to share the OTP to anyone except with the consent of the user.
Failure to comply with these T&Cs, will warrant the termination or suspension of the user’s account.
In the event that the user’s account is suspended or terminated, the user agrees to hold Toktokwallet completely free and harmless from any and all liabilities. LIMITATION
Toktokwallet makes no warranty, express or implied regarding the functionality of the Toktokwallet services.
Toktokwallet is offered on an “AS IS”, “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind other than warranties that are incapable of exclusion, waiver or limitation under the laws applicable to these T&Cs.
Toktokwallet, shall not be liable for any loss, costs, compensation, damage or liability to the user or third party arising directly or indirectly as a result of any or all of the following:
i.) Refusal of Toktokwallet, merchants, either physical or online, to allow, accept, or honor the use of Toktokwallet even though there is sufficient balance in the user’s account.
ii.) If Toktokwallet does not authorize or approve the transaction for whatever reason, even if honored by the merchant, and even if there is sufficient balance in the user’s account.
iii.) Any incomplete, defective, destroyed products purchased through Toktokwallet.
iv.) Any delay, interruption or termination of the Toktokwallet transaction, whether caused by any error, technical, mechanical, electrical or electronic fault or difficulty or any other reason or circumstance beyond its control, such as, but not limited to the following: calamity, war, acts of the government, acts of God, strike, enacted laws or regulations.
v.) Theft or unauthorized use of the Toktokwallet account/card or any loss, costs, damages or payable to any third party by the users.
vi.) Any misrepresentation or fraud by or misconduct of any third party.
In the event of any action that the user may file against Toktokwallet, the user agrees that its liability shall not exceed One Thousand Pesos (P1,000.00) or the amount of damages actually suffered by the Account Holder, whichever is lower.
